Makes16 tablespoons for each pint made
- Whole strawberries
- Fill a large jar with rinsed strawberries (do not hull). Cover with vinegar and seal. Refrigerate for 10 days. Strain and measure vinegar; discard berries. For each pint of vinegar, add 3 cups of sugar. Bring mixture to a boil; boil 2 minutes. Cool. Pour into sterile bottles or jars; seal.

Very good. I was leary because of the amount of sugar. A little sweeter than I would like. Next time I will cut the sugar down a little. Will make again though.

What does one do with strawberry vinegar?

I am afraid to add this amount of sugar to my vinegar. I keep think the amount may be an error. Most recipes call for only 1/4 cup of sugar.
