- 2 cans (10 ounces each) salted cashews
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- In a large skillet, saute cashews in butter and oil for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Spread on a paper towel-lined baking sheet; let stand for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt, chili powder and pepper flakes; toss to coat. Store in an airtight container.

I halved this recipe and I seasoned them immediately after removing from the pan so the spices would stick better. Then I let them cool. I used kosher salt and added some black pepper. They are amazing!

Spicy Cashews - Very easy and flavorful. Especially good the next day and so addictive. My family loved them so I will be making this again this weekend. I will also make using different nuts (per some family requests), but the cashews are wonderful.

I just made these to take to work for snack this week. I don’t think they’re going to make it that long, I can’t stop eating then!
