For Meagan Teal: It's 331 calories per serving. There are 8 servings per recipe. I don't know how many smokies are in a package, but I am sure you can indulge and enjoy more than one. Sounds delicious!

Here's a twist on this. Mix one bottle of BBQ sauce with one bottle of grape jam. Yum!

Great recipe, but why take 5-6 hours in a crock pot when it can be on the party table in less 15 to 20 minutes. Either in a pot on the stove or in the microwave then transferred to a small party crock pot or a chaffing dish.

Very good and a nice change of pace from what I normally make. Love the fact it's cooked in a slow cooker. Easy peasy!

Used two 14-oz packages of smokies. This was delicious, and I'm sure we'll enjoy the leftovers. Easy recipe--I'm sure I'll make it again for another get-together.

This recipe is similar to one I've used since the eh... 70's... but lost it during a move. So happy to find another one! It's always a hit with large groups--I have party piks available to make them easy to eat. I remember my recipe called for a small amount of regular mustard and a jar of red currant jelly, beyond that is a blank. But I really like the barbeque sauce used here!

made for our New Years Eve party. Really good. Is it really 255 calories for one smokey???

Made this last night for Christmas eve. Fantastic, yummy and easy recipe. Used Turkey smokies. Agree with other reviewers, that the sauce is actually enough for 3 pkgs. of smokies. My son served himself with a hotdog bun, 4 smokies to a bun. Great recipe to feed a crowd.Sundra, thank you so much for sharing this recipe with us.

Yummy & easy to make recipe, made it for Christmas eve. Used Turkey smoked sausage and couldn't tell the difference in lower fat count. However, I agree with other reviewers the sauce is too much for one package, so I used 2 packages of Turkey smoked sausage, sure I could have used 3 packages of Turkey smoked sausage, since there was a lot of sauce left over. This is an awesome recipe to feed a crowd. You can even serve them in hotdog buns, 4-5 smokies in one bun....Yum!Sundra, thank you so much for sharing your love of cooking with us all!
