- 3 cups chopped cabbage
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 medium carrot, shredded
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- In a medium bowl, combine cabbage, onions and carrot. Combine remaining ingredients; stir into vegetables. Chill until ready to serve.

Needed a quick and easy side dish for a BBQ and this was perfect! Had everything on hand, made exactly as stated in a few minutes, and everyone loved it. No leftovers so that is always a good indication of a delicious recipe.

If you like an old time classic cole slaw this is a great recipe! Very creamy and delicious!

This is my new 'go-to' coleslaw recipe. I used a bag of shredded cabbage that already had carrots and onions in it. Can't seem to find celery 'seed' so I used celery 'salt'. My guests loved it.

Just made it for a last minute barbeque and happened to have all the ingredients on hand. It is easy and tasty although I was concerned about the lack of liquid in the dressing. Seems to be fine. It is chilling now which will probably make it better.
