Made half a recipe. Used maple sugar and used vinegar as a reviewer suggested. Outstanding! Will make again!

Another wonderful side kick from Taste of home. These were so good. I had no bacon so I used the next best thing Ham. Love the nice little light sauce. it just brings those beans to life.

These beans are delicious. I halved the recipe for the two of us and still have some left over. The brown sugar gives these beans a subtle flavor but not overly sweet. Quick and easy and far better than opening a can of beans. Volunteer Field Editor

Very good but next time I will not put the bacon in until the end after beans are cooked as per my family's request.

Effortless to make, and really tasty! I added a handful of pecans.

these were fantastic. I did add dried cranberries and salt. Next time I might try adding some pecans. Can't believe how good these were though. Husband loved them too. I'll definitely make these a lot
