Garlic Toast Pizzas

- 1 package (11-1/4 ounces) frozen garlic Texas toast
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 package (3-1/2 ounces) sliced regular or turkey pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 425°. Place Texas toast in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake 5 minutes.
- Spread toast with pizza sauce; top with pepperoni and cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, 4-5 minutes longer.

I used this recipe with my young 4-H foods kids. This is a simple recipes easy for young kids. You could certainly spruce this up for more sophisticated tastes.

Enjoyed by my teenagers, quick and easy for them to prepare. One of them said not as good as a pizza crust but still gobbled it up!

1'm a 58 yr. Old retired man. I HAVE 15 NIECES! I RECENTLY HAD MY 2 YOUNGEST FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, WHILE THIER FOLKS WERE OUT OF TOWN. MADE THESE, SIMPLE AND THEY LOVED THEM! THANK YOU!

I have been known to cut the toast in half sometimes. Bake garlic side down with toppings and cheese for same degrees and time.

The only changes I made were using sliced mozzarella instead of shredded, just because I had it on hand; and putting pepperoni on top to crisp up. I also suggest flipping halfway through cooking time, as stated on package directions, for even crispiness. These little guys are AMAZING! Quick and easy delicious treat! No doubt I’ll be making these again, and often!

Winner, winner, lunch or dinner. We had these for lunch and they are awesome!! So easy and absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ate our fill. We will definitely have these little pizzas again. I made no changes to the recipe. I highly recommend this recipe. Volunteer Field Editor
