Huge hit in my home!!

I liked this recipe for the ease of preparation and of course its taste. However, I thought the amount of sugar called for was excessive (I definitely would have ended up with a migraine). Having consistently lowered the amount of sugar our family eats, I decreased the sugar to 1/3 c.. It was delicious served with real whipped cream.

Very easy to make, very tasty. I liked the little something extra the cinnamon sugar topping gave it!

Unfortunately I made substitutions to this recipe, and it did not accept the substitutions well. I used non-gluten flour and coconut sugar, and it did not turn out well. I think this recipe has to be followed exactly.

Very quick and easy to make. I used fresh peaches. I will be making this again! Kid friendly too, my 4 yr old loved it.

I have made this many times over the years but always with self-rising flour, or I substitute 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt.
