South Florida residents are in for a treat! Starbucks is testing delivery through Uber Eats in Miami. If you live in the city—or are planning a trip there in the near future—you could have your favorite brew or frozen drink without ever setting foot in the store.
The test program apparently includes more than 100 Starbucks locations, so there’s a good chance that if you’re in that area, you’re in the Starbucks delivery zone. Right now, the delivery area includes Florida’s Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Here’s What We Know So Far
In a statement, Starbucks said that it would share “more details at a later date.” Uber Eats says that only “select items from the Starbucks menu” can be ordered through the delivery service, though you should be able to get the most popular drinks. In areas that already have Starbucks delivery, the caramel Frappuccino has been the most popular order! (Just don’t order THIS drink.)
Don’t Other Places Already Have Starbucks Delivery?
Starbucks has tested delivery with courier service Postmates in the past. In fact, Postmates still delivers Starbucks drinks in 89 metro areas. But in many places, the only way to get a Starbucks drink is still by visiting a location of the coffee chain. (Uber Eats and Postmates are comparable delivery services, where customers order through an app and pay a small delivery charge to have food delivered from restaurants.)
Who knows? The new program might just take off and it could inspire Starbucks to partner with Uber Eats in other areas, too. With other chains like McDonald’s and Taco Bell now offering delivery, Starbucks needs new delivery options to keep customers happy. Plus, who could say no to having a Pumpkin Spice Latte delivered to their doorstep?
